Dassler Chemical Partners connects producers and distributors – in both directions. As co-founder of the Asia Chemical Network (asiachemical.net), we offer direct access to one of the most active networks between European distributors and Asian,Indian and Middle Eastern producers.

Principal Management:

Chemical producers need distributors who are more than a pure sales channel – who act as market developers, bring technical know-how and are closely integrated into the commercialisation process. Markets change. Product portfolios evolve. And with that, new opportunities continuously emerge – for producers seeking suitable distribution partners as well as for distributors looking to expand their principal portfolio.

We support producers in building the right distribution network and structuring principal agreements effectively. From hundreds of potential distributors, we accompany them from initial contact through to contract signing – including specific know-how on what to consider in each respective market.

Distributors we accompany in developing new principal relationships – for specific product groups and regions, on an exclusive or non-exclusive basis. Our shared goal: to prevail in competition and build a long-term, sustainably profitable principal portfolio.

We are currently developing a structured Principal Management System (PMS) – for greater transparency, commitment and efficiency in the collaboration between producers and distributors. Clear standards, structured reporting and defined processes – for both sides.

Thomas Dassler

Two decades of chemical distribution. First-hand.

Thomas Dassler is a board member of the German Chemical Distribution Association (VCH) and one of the most experienced industry experts in European chemical distribution. As CEO of the Häffner Group (2016–2026) – with GB Chemie GmbH, Imhoff und Stahl GmbH and Dr. Wieland GmbH – he led mid-sized chemical distributors in industrial and specialty chemicals through growth, transformation and international expansion.

Previously from 2009 to 2016 as Managing Director of Tricura GmbH & Co. KG (BÜFA Group), with long-standing positions at BÜFA Chemikalien GmbH & Co. KG in procurement and sales from 2002 to 2009

As co-founder of the Asia Chemical Network (asiachemical.net), founded in 2018, with several hundred affiliated partners, he holds one of the most relevant personal networks between Europe and Asia in chemical distribution.

Key areas of expertise: strategy and transformation, sales and procurement, M&A and investments, principal management and distribution partnerships, leadership and cultural change, digital transformation and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
